INTENTION TO S TRINE HATES. } NOTICE is lieiehy given that the Shannon Borougn Council, pursuant to . section su or the timing Act, iyQB, will at a summoned meeting to he held on the 9th day oi June, l'J2o, at the Shannon Borough Council Office, Pliunner Terrace, Shannon, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for’ the period, commencing on the first day qf April; 1925, ana ending on the Lhhty-hrst day in March, .1926, namely: — A General Bate under Secjjpn 77 o. the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, of lid in the Pound Sterling on the. Capital Value of all the rateable property within tlie Borough of Shannon. A Hospital and Charitable Aid Bate of id in the pound. A special separate rate of -2d in the pound on the Capital Value oi the rateable property in the Separate Bating Area created for Special Loans No. 67 and 76. A sanitary ciiarge of sixpence for each convenience on each and every premises containing such conveniences.

NOTICE is also given under section 94 of The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and section 48 of The Rating Act, .1908, that the proportion of the annually recurring Special Rates made for the purpose of providing the instalments on a loan .of £II,OOO from The State Advances Department, gd in the pound, and for providing the interest and Sinking Flund on a loan of £llOO from the Wellington City Council sinking fund Commissioners |d'in the pound, on the basis of the capital value for the abovementioned period. Also, that the above rates be payable ,at the office of the Borough Council in one instal-' ment on the Ist day of July, 1926. NOTICE is also given that the rate hook containing particulars of, all the above rates and sanitary charge, also the Valuation Roll containing the values on which, the rates are assessed are open for inspection at the Borough council Office during office hours.
