Lee’s screen version of Vincent Lawrence s Broadway stage hit made under the William Fox banner. Previous to her dehut on the silver sheet, Miss De La Motto was a dancer of no average abiity. Her first appearance in public was as a toe dancer at the Coronado Hotel in the famous winter resort near San Diego, California.
