SHANNON FLOWER SHOW.
For liie purpose iQf promoting a keener interest in-horticulture in the district it has been arranged to hold a flower show, in the Parish Hall, Shannon, on Saturday, the 9th of May. A well varied class list of flowers in bloom at this time of the year has been provided for by the Committee. Also vegetables, cookery and. school children’s work. Provision has been made for cut flowers, collection of flowers, decorated baskets, ,bowls and tables. Tea rooms, produce, sewing and toy stalls will be held in. conjunction with the Show. Schedules are displayed in tbe shopwindows and will ;be forwarded upon request to the Hew A. J. Farnell, the secretary.
