l The two c rinks from Shannon that i competed at the Manawatu Centres' . tournament at Palmerston North during the holidays did very well. The rink consisting qf Morgan, Cronquesl, B. At the 14th head the teams were 14 all, a,nd then Reid began to gallop, puttmg in three threes and a two, thereby establishing such a lead as to make Spencer's task of catching him too great. LyaJl Bay finally winning by 26 to 17. The rink j consisting of Capes, Blake, Murray J and Gagliardi (skip), although not / reaching the sectional winners rounds I won three games and lost five, three J of which were only lost by one point. •
