MANAGORE NOTES.
(From our own Correspondent.) Mr R. Y. Bail lie, of Canterbury college, has returned here for further practical training at the Mangaha.o Power Station.
Mr W. S. Ferguson, Chief Audit Inspector to the P.W.D., is on a visit here.
Mr and Mrs Blackwood and family are at present holidaying at Waakanae. Mr Phillips, secretary to the Palmerston North Hospital Board, was on a visit here last week. Mr J. Gagliardi represented the Shannon Club in the Manawatti Bowling Centre Singles Championship last Saturday, and justified his selection. „ Mr Hialliday, land purchase officer, was on a visit here last week. Mr Len White, of Head Office, Wellington, has arrived here on transfer. . . Mr W. Crocker, Metro-Vickers representative, visited the works last week. Dancers from this district speak in slowing terms of the success Qf the St. Patrick’s Ball held on Tuesday evening last. Mr P. R. Baillie, of Wellington, was on a visit toi the works this week.
