SACRED CONCERT.

TO BE HELD IN MATCH. Another very successful practice was held last Tuesday iby the combined choirs when good progress was made with Anthems., etc. There was a large number of choristers present and a very enjoyable evening was spent. The Secretary has Obtained plenty of copies of music and members may purchase their own copies. The choir is in urgent need of tenors and could do with a few more contraltos and foasses.. The next practice will be held on Monday at 7.30 in the Presbyterian church so as to get used to the organ which will 'be used for the anthems, Elgar's National Anthem will also, be practiced. Miss Biutler and Miss Upton have both consented to assist in the programme and one of the very best programmes of its kind will be submitted at this concert,
