SHEEP AND LAMES MAINTAIN LAT* 1 RATES. At the Feilding sale yesterday a fair entry of lambs came forward. Any good rape or white face lambs sold free.ly, well up tq last sale, prices. Medium and inferior iambs also sold freely, but. were not on 4 parity "With better class iambs. There was a small yarding qf cattle, consisting mostly of fat cattle. All classes were hajrd tq quit. Fat lambs 2.75, woolly b.f. hoggets 42s tq 455, fat ewes (heavy) 28s lid to 31s, ditto (light) 35s (passed) 37s 7d. stud S.D. rams 2-tooth, good, £8 Bs, cull lambs 13s 3d to 14s, good ewe lambs 21s 2d, 21s 9d, 21s lOd, 22s 7d. 245; good w.f. lambs 255; medium b.f. lambs 22s 7d, 21s 4d, 21s 9d; med- • krm w.f. lambs 15s 2d, 15s Id, 15s 7d; s.m., ewes 21s, 255, 265,, 27s 2d; medium 2-tooth ewes 32s 3d. Cattle.—Fat steers £8 12s tq £9 lls; good fat cows £7 17s 6d, £8 12s, to £9; light fat cows £3, £4 17s to £5 15s; good 18-months P.A. steers (passed) £5. A small line qf good condition S.H. cross 3-year steers made £6 10s.
