METHODIST BAZAAR.

INTERESTING COMPETITIONS.

Attention is drawn, to the announcement in our advertising column of competitions for hoys and girls in connection with the Methodist Bazaar and harvest festival. These competitions. are not merely confined to children belonging to the Methodist church, put to., any boy ic*r girl who cares, to enter for them, and in each section .a prize will be given, if sufficient entries two prizes, first and second. As' will, be seen from the advertisement no charge will be .made for entrance, huit the articles will become the property of the committee and will be sold to help the Bazaar funds. In all classes the judge’s decision will he final. ;

As is usually the case in the Methodist IBiazaars, there is a splendid collection 04 children's garments, all well made and of good material, m the sewing stall, together with a very nice assortment of fancy articles.

The produce stall Will also be well filled With home-made jams, and preserves, and as the harvest festal sale is combined with this there will be a good show of fruits, vegetables, etc. A children’s stall will also be. m evidence for the young people to do their own shopping. The sweet stall will be fitted with fresh toothsome dainties and there will, be ice cream and fruit salad in abundance. Last of all, but by no means least will be the tea rooms, which will be well catered for and with a large number of young ladies in attendance, no one. will be kept waiting too long for the cup that cheers. Don’t forget the date—Thursday 19tli February, 2.30 and 7 o’clock, in the Maoriland Theatre. Come, one—Come all.
