- MOVIE MAGNATE’S (DEATH. WAS ELINOR GLYN THERE? LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10. District Attorney Kempley announced to-day that lie was investigating reports that sensational Incidents had preceded the recent death of Thomas luce, one oi Hollywood’s leading producers. Stones of the happenings, at a wild party aboard the yacht Oneida during u short cruise in the Pacific have reached the police,. luce’s nurse testified that'he drank too much bad liquor aboard the yacht, and practically died of alcoholic poisoning. According to published reports, the guests on the- yacht, included William Randolph Hearst, the newspaper proprietor, Marion Davies, Zena Owen, another actress, and Elinor Glyn, of “Three Weeks” fame..
