The Bank of New Zealand has re* ceived the following cabled advice from Us London Office, dated December 12 th:— Butter.—Firm, 204/- to 206/ per cwt. Cheese. —Market firm on short spot supplies’, 93/- to 94/- per zwl. Frozex Meat. —Ths. market for wetlrex-s is linn. Prices for ewes will probably remain steady. The lamb market is expected to go lower oking to large supplies expected. The mar-, ket for beef is depressed owing to heavy arrivals of Argentine.—Wethers light, Sd. to 9£d. per lb.; wethers heavy, 7|d. to Bd. per lb.; ewes 6|d. to 7;d- per lb.; Austi-alian lambs, 125 d to 13d. per lb.; ox hinds, to sd. per lb.; ox lores, 4id. to 4 id. per lb.
