RETURN OF DAIRY BOARD DELEGATION
After a nine months’ world tour, Lilt overseas delegation of the Dairy Produce Control Board, consisting of Mr W. Grounds, Mr W. Claud Motion, and Mr J. R. Thacker, is expected back to New Zealand shortly after the New Year.
The delegation lias had a unique opportunity of studying problems connected with the dairying industry throughout the world, and the results of these studies will no doubt prove of great value to the dairy producers of the Dominion. While in the United States and Canada the delegation paid special attention to the methods ot manufacture as practised in that country, as well as to co-operatve marketing and distribution in Great Britain. The delegates no doubt made the fullest investigation into our present markets with a view of ascertaining whether our present methods i can be improved upon, and if the net i return to the producer can possibly be increased. _
Judging from the various reports which reached us from different coun. tries, the delegates were received everywhere with the utmost welcome and respect. Every facility was extended to them of studying the different systems and conditions, with the result that their reports and recommendations are being eagerly looked forward to by their fellow-members of the Board and by the whole of the dairyfarmors of the Dominion.
