STOCK SALE.

The. monthly stock sale was held in the Shannon yards, yesterday when there was a good attendance of buy ers. A good yarding of cattle came forward, while only a few. lines of sheep came to* hand. Keen competition was evinced for the. various lines offered and practically every line changed owners. Following were tne prices realised:—Cattle; Yearling hellers from 36s to £3 19s for particularly choice Jersey heifers, fat cows £5 7s 6d tq £6 4s, cows and calves £3 10s to £4, light fat cows £3 10s to £4 6s, forward cows to £2 15s, light fat bullocks .£7 10s, small 3-yeur steers £5 9s. Sheep; Prime woolly hoggets £2 5s 6d, fat hoggets 33s 9d. ,Pigs: Weaners 265..
