Mr Thomas Pockett,..tne wea-Kiiown Melbourne horticulturist, who specialises in chrysanthemums, lias originated a new and beautiiul silverymauve chrysanthemum, which has neen named "The. Pockett," Specimens grown., in lingland won the first certificate, a gold medal, and a cup at the National Horticultural Show, where tuo new variety was an outstanding exhibit. «s. moßt.noanle I feature is ns immense size, the bloom | being 54-inches in circumference.
