As far as can be ascertained, the amount of milk and cream handled by the i various factories in the Manawatu district during the month of October constitutes a record for that particular month with most factories. The following are the advances'that are being made against October supplies by the various, factories : Kairanga Is. 7£d., Levin Is. 7d., Whakarongals 7d, Cheltenham Is 4d, Awahuri Is. 6d., N.Z., Dairy Union Is. 6d., Shannon Is. 6d., Palmerston N. Dairy Company Is. 6d., Rongotea Is. 6d., Newbury Is. sd.
