The Danish explorer, Knud Rasmussen, has just returned from ft three yea r s expedition to the Arctic.’ He believe s that a flight to the North Pole by the dirigible Shenandoah is quite feasible, provided that a mooring mast and fuel base are established at Point Barrow. Mr Rasmussen travelled in fair comfort 20,000 miles from Greenland across the Canadian Arctic, returning via Alaska. There are 40,000 Eskimos between Greenland and Siberia, and with one dialect a visitor can make himself understood everywhere.
