Ben Gray, claim for £56 12s 6d, an order was made for the amount with costs £2 2s to be paid at the rate of £3 per month, in default two months. Ernest Arthur Harold George v. Harold White, claim £y 15s 9d, costs 15s "'6d, to be paid at the rate of i\ 10s pei* month, in default 14 days. Mark Bird v. Mr Fred. C. Jones died at New Ply- ! mouth this week. He was born in ■ Wellington 62" years ago, his parents being very old and esteemed early colonists, while his mother (nee Broderick) arrived in Wellington in 1843. For many years Mr Jones was a farmer in the Otaki district, where he was a prominent member of several local bodies. He then took up a farm in North Taranaki, and was for a number of years an active and esteemed member of the Clifton County council. Mrs Frank Penn, of Cam. bridge, is deceased's only surviving sister. WORLD SINGERS.
