The purpose of the loan is (a) to x provide the Council's contribution under »■ "The Main Highways Act, 1922,'Mowards the construction)or reconstruction of the Main Highways v. throughput the r Horowhenua County and (h). to provide the necessary plant and machinery for carrying out the said work of constructing or reconstructing „such Highways. .2. The sum proposed, to he borrowed is;— (a) For Main Highways construction or reconstruction .... £78,000 (b) For Plant anjf Machinery £12,000 . Making a total of £90,000 c.
