(From our own Correspondent.) On Friday eyenlng, a concert was given in the local hall by a party of children, from the Shannon Sunday School. The; children, who had been trained by Mrs Farnell and Mrs Bovis, were well received and the items w;ere greatly appreciated, especially those given by the little Miss Thompsons. After the concert, a. dance was held, the music being provided by an orchestra from Shannon and,, ialer, by Mr H. Pan*. Theproceeds of the entertainment, some £8 or £9 nett, are tQwards the local church fund. It has been proposed fc> hold a children's fajiry dress dance si'only, also in aid Qf church funds. Miss U.
