MR FORD'S HUGE TAX. ROCKEFELLER AND FAIRBANKS. WASHINGTON, October 24. Mr Henry Ford and his company and family hava paid the Govment 19,000,000 dUlars (nearly 3>800,000) in income tax, thus creating a world's record in this direction. Mr Ford, on his own personal income, paid £500,000, his son, Edsel, £400,000 and the Ford companies the remainder.

Mr John Rockefeller, junr., paid £1,500,000. The earnings of Mr Douglas. Faiarbanks, the screen star, are amazing, for he paid £45,000. Mr Charlie Chaplin handed over £I2OO while Mr Julius Fleischmann, the "yeast king," and an ex-Mayor of Cincinatti, paid £160,000.
