TJBLIC NOTICE lg Hereby given that it is the intention of the Horowhenua County Council under /powers conferred toy "The ~ Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," "The Counties Act, 1920," "The Main Highways Act, 1922," -and all other powers thereto enabling, to raise a special loan as hereunder stated, that is to say::1. The purpose 'Of the loan is (a) to provide the' Council's contribution under "The 'Main Highways Act, 1922," towards the construction/or reconstruction, of the Main Highways throughout the Horowhenua County and (b) to provide the necessary plant and (machinery for carrying out the said work of constructing or reconstructing such Highways, 2, The sum proposed to be borrow-1 ed (a) for Main Highways, construction or ■ reconstruction :...,... £78,000 (b) For plant and Machinery £.12,000 Making a total of ~.; . ... £90,000 2. It Is proposed that the term oi the loan shall be. lor a period of noc more than, 36j years, and that the rate of interest to be .paid on we loan shall not exceed £5 10s per centum .per annum, plus a sinking lunu of one per centum per annum. To provide, security fs?r such interest and sinking fund' it is further proposed to niake a special rate on all rateable property in the whole, of the Horowhenua Gcamt'y, sufficient to meet the periodical payments of such interest and sinking fund and 10 per cent._more than such payments. ■4..
