i Advice has been received from the secretary of the Foxton Club that it is desired to play the first and second rounds of the Triangular Shield contest before Christmas, ahd if convenient to those participating the first round to be played on November 19th at Levin and the second round on December 3rd at Shannon. It is also proposed that an interclub rink tournament between rinks from Foxton, Shannon, and Devin be held during the Christmas holidays,one day’s play on each green. The Club is. asked to forward any proposals it might have to make in this connection. '
