PRICES STEADY. There was a. large yarding of cattle at the Levin weekly sale yesterday, prices being weiU maintained ior aiiyciiing showing quality*: A large proportion o; the offering was surprisingly trough lor this Ume qi tte year oeing mostly hill country stuff, Ld'oold accordingly.' Sheep were in. fair supply and sold well at lute rttfes. Pigs which were in only lair supply sold well, prices being unchanged. Prices were as. follow: Pigs; Weaners 24s to 26s l good weaners to 28s, light stores -29 sto 325, light porkers 4s to W Js, neavy at 17s 6.d, choppers £3 Is, baconers £3 Is to £3 IDs. Sheep: Fat woolly withers 465, iat s shorn ewes 27s 6d to 28s 9d, store wooiUy ewes. 26s to 27s Id, good woolly hoggets 325..
