MANGAHAO.” Yesterday a special edition of the “Shannon News” was circulated descriptive of thq Mangahao hydro-elec-tric undertaking, which was inaugurated at Mangaore* Three thousand five hundred copies of this publication were distributed, every house ffi , the Horqwhenuu Flower Board’s district being included hy means either of a staff of runners, o.r the Postal Department’s “Householder” system. The area covered includes the four Boroughs of Foxton, Shannon, Levin and Otaki, the townships of Linton, Tokomaru, Koputaroa, OhEtu, Manakau, To Horo, Paraparaumu, Waikanae ' and Paekakariki, and the intermediate country. A hundred copies W© r e also placed on board the official parliaj mentary train from Wellington. The illustrations and descriptive matter -Will be found to give a very good idea of the great work that have now reach the point of fruition, and will be useful to forward to residents in other parts of the Dominion or abroad. Extra copies may be obtained from the local newsagents or From the manager of the “News,” price 2d.
