ARRANGEMENTS FINALISED. Word was received last evening by the secretary of the Mangafiao Celebrations Committee from the Prime Minister’s- secretary that. Monday next has been definitely fixed as tfic day for the official turning- on of the power from. Mangahao. A meeting of the executive was .hold at the conclusion of the Borough Council meeting last evening, ■'wncn final arrangements were made for the celebrations on that date. The following is the programme drawn up for the function. The Ministerial party and members of Parliament will arrive by title New Plymouth, express at 11.15 a.m. and will be welcomed by the Mayor and citizens at the railway station.
