POWER FROM MANGAHAO.
MINISTER NOW SAYS END OF JANUARY. - "The date is getting later and later every meeting," complained Mr M. A. El'iott, at the-Manawatu-Orqua Power Board "yesterday, when a letter was read - from' the Minister of Pubhc Works (Hon. J. G. Coates), who stated in reply -to the Board's, request lor some approximate date when current from Mangahaa„ that it was confidently anticipated a supply would be given at the Bunnythorpe sub-station by January 30, 1925. - The chairman (Mr J. A. Nash, M.P.) remarked that the opening ceremony of the scheme was not being held tUI early in November.
