LEVIN AMATEUR ATHLETIC AND CYCLING CLUB.
The 1924-25 athletic season will be ushered in with the Labour Day Sports to be held at Levin' on Labour Day, 27th October. Keen interest is already being shown by both cyclists and runners, ana this meeting promises to eclipse all its predecessors. Many prominent athletes havesignified their intention of being present, amongst whom are L. H. Tracey 440 yds Australasian champion and 220 yds New Zealand champion, also F. Hill and M. Leadbetter; prominent Wellington sprinters. and H. D. Priestley, the promising long distance runner. A. C. Dufresne, the New Zealand one and three mile champion will also make his appearance, ' These, men alone should attract attention, Lqcal athletes are reminded that nominations, for this meeting close on Friday, 17th October, at 8 p.m.
