TOKOMARU NOTES.
(From our. own Correspondent.) On Friday evening the Druids' fortnightly euchre and dance was neld. Owing to the inclement weather the attendance, was not very good. Mrs G Walton won the ladies' prize and Mr A. Todd the gentleman's. Consolation; prizes were won by Mrs'JSchw'ass. and Master. E. Russell. A meeting was held on Saturday ( , to discuss ways and means regarding the repairing of the - Anglican Church Jence etc, with the money raised at the recent social. .Owing to the poor attendance, however, nothing was done. ... I -Mr and Mrs C* Smith arrived m Tokomaru on Saturday afternoon. '" Miss B. Kelly is undergoing an operation and ts in private hospital at Palmerston NQrth.
