The' ranch is heavily mortgaged to Kincaid, who desires it for its ridh deposit ol black niiarble. He also desires the beautiful gi.rr who owns the •ranch. Kincaid contracts far. a big order of Black maa-ble, knowing that he cannot fill it from his own quarry, but figures Qh the Morse quarry. He tries to foreclose the mortgage, but is ' balked, so tries to take the place by force.. He encounters opposition fi'Oiin Gale, a. .former World War soldier. Gale and Williams run a line of dynamite .around the quarry. When Kincaid appears with this gunmen, he meets a terrific bombardment. TTJe quarry and the ranch are saved. Gale and the girl fall in love. Clever plot, well directed, and acted and scenic beauty,
