MIRANUI FOOTBALL DINNER.

On Saturday afternoon the members and supporters of the Miranui Football Club held a most enjoy able gathering at the Albion Hotel, when the annual dinner took place. The gathering was presided over by Mr A. Seifert. After a sumptuous dinner had been partaken of and done full justice to, the following toasts were honoured: —“The Kin o- ” “Miranui Football Club,” proposed by Mr Caddy, replied to by Mr priest- “Management Committee of Miranui Football Cl.u!b,” by Mr Rolston replied to by Ma* B. Sutherland; “Tilie Coach,” Mr C. Head, replied to bv Mr J. King; “Absent Players.” Mr O. Hanifin, Mr Gillespie replymg; “Kindred Clubs and Unions,” Mr C. Sutherland, Mr Steer responding; “A and L. Seifert Co., Ltd.,” Mr Marshall, Mr A. Seifert replying; “Ouir Supported,” Mr. South worth, replied to bv Mr Curran; “Press,” Mr Watson, reolied to by Mr H. Hudson; “The Ladies,” Mr Croon,, responded to by Mr . Curran.

At the conclusion of the toast Us* the following trophies were presented; Brief bag for best forward, Mr Bensemann; gold medal for best defensive r»la ver, Mr S. West. A, vote of thank ■ was accorded Mr las Curran for the use of his ground.
