A PRINCE’S FOURTH WIFE.
.WELCOMED BY OTHER THREE.. BUDAPEST, June 30. The marriage to a fourth wife, aged seventeen, of the Turkish Prince Abdul Kadir, who.took refuge some months ago at Bucharest with three wives, four children and a secretary, has been brought before the Bucharest public in curious way. Until recently the Prince has lived very quietly in his hotel, partly owing to the death of one of his children. But in May he attended, with his secretary, a cabaret, the Cercle des Etrangers, and was so fascinated by a pretty little dancer, Irene WaldonisBorn, that he went night after night, and then asked her to marry him. The wedding took place, according to the Mahommedan ritual, and the fourth wife was cordially weicomed. to the family by the other three wives. The public knew nothing about it, but unfortunately the young princess has a contract at another cabaret from which the two directors would not release her till the prince had paid them substantial compensation. Then the directors quarrelled about the division of the money, and tha police had to arrest them both. Thus the whole story came out.
