WEEKLY. METING. The weekly meeting of the. Hiorowhenua Rugby Union was held last Tuesday, Mr J. Dimmer occupying the chair. Also present—Messrs O’Connor, Austin, Robinson, Hutchings, and tdie secretary, Mr L. Carmichael. REP. GAME FOR OTAIKI. Oh ithe motion of Mr Rimmer seconded by Mr Robinson, it was decided that the making of arrangements for the King Country Rep. match to be played at Otaki on Wednesday, September 24th, be left in’ the hands qf the secretary. TAIHAPE MATCH. The gate receipts of the Taihape game af Shannon were received, this amounting to* £.12 Bs. According to arrangembnts, 50 per cent gross was forwarded to the Taihape Union. JUNIOR REP. GAME FOR FOXTON. It was arranged that the . Horowhenua Manawatu Junior rep. game be played at Foxton on September 13, the date fixed for the Manawatu-HoFo-whenua senior rep., game in Palmerston North, to which the referees of both unions will play a curtainraiser.
