The first annual bail Held ,l>y tha Mouioa Hall cqmmifciee in tiie Momtoa Hail on Friday evenmg proved, a great success, there being a large ance, many travelling irom a distance. Ifie hail nod been, prettily decorated , with green terns and wattle wnn, , streamers suspended front the centre , of the ceiling, of tire Moutoa colours, green, red and yenow, ,uie wnoie neI ing interspersed 'With coloured bali loons, while the stage was sq arranged <ts to depict a, miniature drawing | room. The music was supplied by j Htori George’s orchestra irom Foxton. , Extras were played hy Mis Davy, Misses Roberts and Delaney. Messrs Perreau and D. Gilbert officiated as M.’sC» The supper was catered lor by Mr Perreau "and was a credit to him. The lunotion was a most enjoyable one, and the arrangements to attain this end reflect great credit on the committee.
