When it comes to fancy rope twirling Will Rogers can throw circles around Dick Hatton, ■ the ambitious young Western actor, and Tom Mix can undoubtedly rope a steer with a great deal more agility, but Ha.tton has a stunt which; he has just performed for his forthcoming picture, "Four Hearts," which he submits for the practice of both rope experts. While sitting on the end of shaky tree limb, 20 feet from the ground, he threw his lassq and snagged a man ! from a rapidly travelling automobile. As he was determined to. put the. punch in tins feature length picture, he persistently kept tiie oaniera griding until he accomplished the teat. , This is but one of the many startling incidents in Mr Hatton's "Fqur Hearts " a William Fox production which*comes to Shannon Theatre on Saturday. „, 'HIS MYSTERY GIRL." Kerry Reynolds, guilty off much seriousness and little ■ play—finds his roommate having a good time, with the* assistance of a gay gang. Instead of getting a chance to. upbraid fris house partner, Kerry finds himself the victim oi a curtain lecture. Dick tells him he'll be in the graveyard pretty quick. His associates in. business tell him the same thin.g. Kerry goes to a doctor and sees a girl with tears in her eyes. The doctor tells Kerry "it's a case of worry over a, fortune and family troubles." to a hotel lobby he sees . the girl again. She leaves Iter handbag on a 'divan." He picks it us—-immediately two . -house detectives chase him. He lands in a lonely house at night with ten men to. lick. Dick chases .' him everywhere. "Lay off> women in trouble" he advises, but Kerry is determined to sacrifice himself for romance. Meanwhile, his friends, laugh "up their sleeves"—but that'6 the story.
