SHANNON STOCK SALE.

The monthly stock sale was held in the Shannon saleyards yesterday m the presence of ti small attendance ot buyers. Only a small entry of stock came forward, but it met with keen competition; fat sheep showing- a marked increase in price. The following are the prices realised Sheep : Fat wethers £2 Is to £2 2s lOd, cull, ewes 5s to 13s 9d. Cattle: Springing heifers £3 15s, £5 to £6 10s, springing cows £6 10s to £7 10s, forward cows £2 to £2 ss, store cows 24s to 30s, heifers in milk to £5 2s 6d.
