HAWERA, Last Night

The Wellington Centre Boxing Championships were concluded last night, before a large attendance. The fixture was well managed and is considered a success. .Most of the bout 9 were closely contested, the results being:—•

Fly-weight: Hoskins (Wanganui) defeated Willis (Hawera) on points. Final: Hoskins defeated Woods (Wellington) on points.

# Bantam: Hayward (Hawera) defeated Nesbitt (Manawatu) on points. In the final Hayward defeated Crowley (Wellington) on points. Feather: In the final, Black (Wellington) defeated Vercoe . (Marlborough) on points. In the light-weight final, Loveridge (Taranaki) defeated Charles (Wellington) oh points.

The welter final resulted in Wtilden (Manawatu) defeating Duggan (Hawera) on points. In the middle-weight class Brosnan (Hawera) defeated Johanson (Masterton) on points.

The light-heavy; weight final result cd in Hunt (’Manawatu) defeating Evatt (Wellington) on points.

Heavy, final. Mcßae (Wellington) defeated McGuir e (Taranaki) on points
