GRAND BALL.

TO-NIGHT. The great event of the year in Shannon, the Bowling, Croquet and Tennis Clubs' Ball, will take place in the Druids' Hall this evening. The committee have spared mo pains to make this function a social success and it is anticipated there will be a large attendance as quite a number of members of surrounding clubs have signified their intention of being present. The music will be provided by an orchestra of seven firstclass musicians, while the preparation oi the floor is receiving special attention. The supper. arrangements will be in charge ui .ladies from the combined clubs. As the ball is being run with a view to raising funds for the various clubs it is anticipated the public w r ill give the lunction its hearty support. .
