GOLF NOTES.
ONE CLUB MATCH. To-fciiorroiW afternoon something novel in the way of a match will be held on the local links. Members may play with any club from a putter to.a driver, but only ono all the way round. Trophies are offered for best cards, men and ladies Men 18 hales, iadie s 9. Afternoon tea will again (be ts,iu,prplied. Last Saturday this proved to be one of the most enjoyable features of the day's sport. Players will please note that No 8 hole is being moved to higher ground. This.will increase the length of both eight and nine, and in fact will entirely transform the course. Should the new hole not be ready to-morrow play will be continued oh the old.
