STORE SHEEP IN BRISK DEMAND. LAMBS SELL WELL.

At the Addington Market, entries were large to-day, and all round there was a good market. Store ewes: There was an improvement in all classes, notably for wethers, which were up by 1/ per bead, but also old ewes and lambs were likewise better. Good 2-toOth i halfbred ewes in lamb 41/, soundmouth crossbred ewes in lamb 37/, 4,6, and 8-tooth crossbred ewes in lamb 33/6, .2, i, C, and 8-tooth three-quarterbred ewes in lamb 30/6, good conditioned crossbred empty ewes 20/1; good conditioned aged ewes in lamb 22/5; aged ewes im lamb 16/ to 20/9, 4 and 6-tooth three-quarter-bred wethers 33/9, 4 and 6-tooth halfbred wethers 33/ to 33/7, 4,6, and 8-tooth halfbred wethers 3.3/ to 33/5, | lower conditioned I and 6-tooth wethers 30/3 to 32/; full 2 and 4-tooth lialfbreif wethers 27/, crossbred mixed sex lanfcs 22/3 to 25/, crossbred ewe lambs 25/9 to 27/11, crossbred wether lambs 21/9 to 23/10, shorn Roniueycross wether lambs 20/6, halfbred wether lambs 22/1, to 23/2. Fat lambs: A.small yarding of 1200, and a very keen! sale. Good 42lbs and under mado lljd to ll£aV inferior sorts being unchanged; extra prime lambs 39/, a few reaching 49/6; prime 35/ to ISB/, medium 31/ to 34/; light 20/ to 30/. ' Fa* sheep: A heavy yarding and an j irregular sale, but generally last week's values held, though over the middle portion of the sale values were easier. Extra prime wethers 49/, a few special 59/; prime'4o/6 to 45/; medium 36/6 to 40/, light 30/ to 36/; extra prim? ewes 41/, prime 33/ to 36/, medium 28/6 to 32/, light 24/6 to 28/, aged 18/ bo 23/6. Fat cattle: A fairly heavy yarding of 420 head. Generally the market waa a shade better than last week. Prime beef made from 30/ to 33/ per 100 lbs, medium 26/6 to 29/6, light 22/ to 26/, and rough down to 12/6. Extra prime stores £l7, prime £l2 5/ to £ls, medium £lO to £l2, light £4 15/ to £9 10/, extra prime heifers £lO 2/6, prime £6 15/ to £9, ordinary £4 to £6 10/, exUra prime cows £lO 7/6, primo £6 to £9, medium £4 15/ to £5 15/, aged and inferior £2 15/ to £4. Vealers: An overflow entry. Good calves sold firmly; Good runners £5 12/6; good vealers £3 to £4, good calves £1 10/ to ££2 15/, small 5/ to 20/. l
Store cattle: A fair sized entry. Potters excited a demand for old cows. Bes« cows £2 to £2 17/6, medium £1" 10/ to £1 17/6, inferior £1 to £1 5/. Fat pigs: A medium entry, and a. good sale, quite on all fours with last week. Choppers £3 to £3 10/, light baconers £3 15/ to £4 10/, heavy £5 to £5 15/, extra heavy £6 9/; average price per lb 8d to B£d; light porkera £2 3/ to £2 107, heavy £2 15/ to £3 10/; average price per ib 8d to Bl'd.
Stlore pigs: A small entry, and improvement for fairly' well-grown animals. Weaners sold at late rates. Values were as follow:—Small weaners 7/ to 10/, good 1o 16/, small stores 20/ to 25/, medium 33/, large to 51/.
