They pointed out the Board was making nothing out of the-power . supplied to Shannon at the increased charges and they asked the Council to shoulder the increase as the light was purely a convenience to the community. , The Mayor pointed out that'll p.m. was-an awkward time for putting out the light as the public were at thaihour generally returning to. * homes from the pictures and other entertainments. Could it not be made 11.30 p.m.' The .meeting agreed to 11.30 p.m.for turning off the light and that the increased- charge - will be for about three months when it is' hoped toe main power will be turned on.
