HEART'S ACTION FILMED.
1 ADVANCE IN SCIENCE. Films showing the human heart beating were exhibited yesterday at the Academie des Sciences, says the Paris correspondent of the '" Times." The films were obtained by a method invented by M. Lromon and M. Comandbn, who employed X-rays and special photographic apparatus. It is claimed that the process will be of great advantage in the study of. movements of the heart and diaphragm, and may even be useful in diagnosis. Experiments were made at the laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, The films exhibited showed the movements of the heart of M. Comandon.
