STOCK SALE.

Tiie monthly stock sale was held at Shannon yesterday when, there was a good attendance of buyers. A large yarding of stoop came forward, which; sold well at ruling rates, practically all lines being cleared. There was an average number of cattle, offered, but there was not much demand, although those sold realised ruling; prices. Following are tl)f& prices received: Sheep: Light fat wethers 27s 9d to 28s 6d light fat ewes 19s 9d, forward ewes 16s wether lambs 16s, woolly lambs to’l7s 4d, cull lambs 9s 8d to 10s, cull ewes 6s. Cattle: Springing heifers £5 10s to £6 12s 6d, forward bullocks £6 to £6 15s dry cows £4, fat cows £2 5s to £3’ 19s 6d, 'heifers r.w.b. 345, weaner heifers 14s, mixed sex weaners Bs.
