MILLIONS HIDDEN AB&OAJX ECONOMISTS HOODWINKED. . , London, February 23. The investigations carried out by A the committee of experts, 4 headed by Mr. Reginald McKenna, formerly Chancellor of the Exchequer, prove that economists, including Mr. McKenna hisJrself, hopelessly under-estimated the; value of German capital secreted; abroad, says the Paris correspondent of the London Daily Mail. The amount is now known to be £450,000,000, of which: £350,000,000 is easily convertible into liqpid assets, and can bo brought back' to Germany, enabling her to pay reparations. The committee considers that the Gorman railways, properly administered, are alone sufficient security for national borrowing, and that tho Bud--get could easily be balanced by llic,imposition of proper taxes*
