Y..M.C.A. v. MOUTOA. Y.M.C.A. had an easy win from Moutoa at the Weraroa Memorial Park on Saturday, when they heat the visitors by .10 runs in the second innings, declaring with their wickets stiti intact. Moutoa- were unfortunate in Mason their top man being off form, his early dismissal for two in the first round apparently demoralising the team. With the exception oi iviadsen who put up nine runs before falling ftp Auckram, tjhe remainder ol the team were dismissed for ducks in almost every instance. Y.M.C.A. was fortunate in their >vin as their leading' men also were having a day off, Auckram, McKenzie ana Field, who can generally be relied oi. for reasonable scores, being dismissed cheaply. , Hudson’s 14 was the best score in the first innings and alone pulled the total up to respectable « mensions.
In the second innings, both teams appeared to have got the measure of the bowling better, Mason and Rangi for Moutoa putting up useful scores. Results were as follow: MOUTOA.—First Innings.
