WERAROA DEFEATS MOUTOA.

1 Ideal weather favoured the match between Weraroa and Mouioa at the Weraroa Memorial Park on Saturday. The afternoon was, it anything, too but, but conditions lor the game were excellent. The result was a rather easy win for Weraroa by 98 runs to 67. In both cases the greater part oi the score was put on the first men in, the tail being lamentably weak. Pringle played a sound- bat and looked like staying right through, but eventually fell to a ball thrown off the matting coming in and taking his wicket. His 46 runs were compiled in excellent

style' and he gave no chances. Davis showed fair form and Hughes was the

Moutoa made much the same start es Weraroa. Mason and Madsen •got going well, the former compiling 24 and showing himself to be' a much better bat than the figures would indicate.
