Bathers at the Kaupokonui beach have not reported the appearance of sea sharks (says the Manaia Witness), but it is stated that sharks of another variety make free with their wearing apparel. Recently a-young lady found on returning for her clothes, that portions had been cut away, and her shoes were missing.
