WEDDING AT FOXTON

A wedding which created much .local interest was celebrated in All Saints' Church, Foxton, on Thursday evening, when Dr. E. M. Wyllie, only son of tine late Mr F. and Mrs Wyllie, lato of Waitara, was united to Eileen 'May, eldest daughter of the late Mr J. H. and Mrs Robinson, of "Herrington," Beach load, Foxton. The church, which was artistically dccoraited for the occasion, was filled with friends andWell-Avishers of the happy couple. Thle service was fully choral and the Rev. W. H. Walton, vicar of All Saints', was the officiating minister. The bride was escorted and "given away" by her brother, Mr R. H. Robinson, arid was charmingly attired in a frock of ivory white moroeain, sleeves of silver lace and trimmings, and she wore: the orthodox veil, relieved with silver leaves and orange blossoms; the bridal bouquet was of azalias, lilies (and caifnartions, with touches of pink and streamers to match. The bride was accompanied by Miss Wyllie (sister of the' bridegroom) and Miss Lorna Robinson (sister of the bride). Dr. Macdonald,* of Shannon, officiated as best man, and Mr Vernon, Robinson (brother of the bride) as <sroamsmnn. Dr. and Mrs Wvllie left by motor car later in the evening on their (honeymoon. An advertisement from a Siamese newspaper: "The niews of English we tell the latest. Writ in perfectly style and most, earliest. Do a murder get commit we hear and tell it. Do a mighty chief die, we publish it, and its borders of sombre. Staff has each one heon college, and writ like the Kipling and the Dickens. We circulate everything and 'extortionate not far advertisements. Buy it.".
