Y.M.C.A. y. MQUTOA. An interesting game was played between the Y.M.C.A. and Moutoa on Saturday at the Levin Domain. Field won the toss arid sent his opponents in to bat. Mason (captain) -and Madsen opened Mouto-u’s innings very auspiciously, scoring 15 runs off AUiCkram. -Morgan filled the vacant crease and banged Field to the boundary for 4, but Field had his revenge by clean bowling him with his total at 8 and the score ol 19 for two wickets. Madsen went on scoring rapidly, getting 19 runs off 4 hits, be < remained not nut having* batted right through for 38. The remaining batsmen -scored 8 'between them, the innings closed for 61. Tingey bowled well, bagging 4 wickets for 3* Auckram 2 for 26, and Field 2 for 30. Y.M.C.A.’s first pair we're Rev. Harris and Auckram. The" inningsopened -badly. The first wicket fell with the total 7. Second at .15, and the third and fourth at 16- Thompson* then became associated with Harris and things began to look hopeful when.
