"OUT OF THE DEPTHS."

On Saturday night, a thrilling drama, with "the above title, will be presented. The climax is as follows: "John Rand is about to leave on. a special train. Sanl'ord rushes to the station, throws the engineer off, and mounts the cab himself, bent upon riding Rand to destruction. Comes word- that a wash-out on the tracks has caused ■& flood in the TOad. Sanford must be stopped in time or both he and John Rand will jneet a watery grave. The lovers mount another train and give chase. Nearer tand nearer they creep in a breathless pursuit. Sharp curves and zig-zag bends don't stop them. Tunnels and crossings fly hy, till at last they are 'within a few feet of the special. Ruth takes a desperate chance. She. leaps the gap betweetn both trains, slips, catches herself, and mounts line rear platform of the runaway, climbs above the deck and jumps into the cab just in time to make her father, apply the brakes. With, her husband Alice goes to visit her sister and ieams that while Austin loves his dearly he has allowed himself, to become engrossed in business, and Claire has found elsewhere the attention that her husband has neglected to "'give her. A situation of a decidedly compromising aspect \ follows, an dto protect her sister Alice takes her place in a rendezvous with the other man at a little country lodge. There her husband, who has gone in search of the other man on .a business deal, finds, her.
