A business man has forwarded for publication the following "classic" .request which was received by a storekeeper in Marlborough from a customer in the Sounds. "Wud you plese let me 'aV a emty box 'bout a orf ful uv straw ter make a dog kenel fer a pig." The recipient of the letter subsequently ascertained that his customer wanted a to and some straw as he desired to send a pig to the Blenheim Show.
