TOKOMARU COW TESTING ASSOCIATION.
LAST SEASON’S RESULTS. The following are the particulars of the result for the 1922-23 season of the Tokomaru Cow Testing Association which will demonstrate to dairymen’ the value of regular testing. As comoared with the 1921-22 season the results show an increase in averages lot rcr cow for the season of 29.07 lbs of butterfat. There were ten herds under test. The best herd, comprising 14 cows, averaged 393.321bs fat and the worst herd was on© of five cows, which, averaged 160.631bs fat. The best cow yielded! 540.471b's fat and the worst cow returned only 84.081bs fat, the association’s average per cow tested was 241.61 Lbs fat. The average production of butter-fat per cow PC r day was 0.95191b5, which is for all cows in milk 100 days 'and pvgr.
